What is eco-progressive?

Progressive
We need progress to reach the sustainable development goals. A production meeting the needs of over 7 billion people without destroying their basis of existence has not been established in the past.

Humans need functional ecosystems. Therefore overcoming the ecological crises is essential for preserving the livelihood of future generations.

Progress must be equal for all. In addition to the ecological limits, the social limits resulting from the needs of the people must also be respected.

What counts are comprehensible results on the way to achieving the goals. The various natural and social sciences as well as humanities are particularly important in this respect and we should take their results into account.

We need the opportunities that new technologies open up for us. We should use them sensibly and according to the sustainability goals.

The ultimate goal is a good life for all people, regardless of where they live, what they look like, how old they are or what gender they are.
